Year 11 marks the beginning of the final phase of each student’s education, through the VCE or VCAL pathway, and represents an important and challenging period for each individual both academically and personally. The Year 11 homeroom teachers are sensitive to these challenges, and are dedicated to supporting and encouraging each and every student under their care. Year 11 students and teachers partake in a three-day Retreat Program, which facilitates valuable reflection and meditation for both teachers and students, enabling the learning community to interact and celebrate their achievements and accomplishments in a supportive environment.
One highlight of the Retreat Program is the session in which students receive and read letters from their parents or guardians, which praise and acknowledge each child’s progress and success within the College, and encourage the student to continue on their journey towards academic, spiritual and personal growth.
