








Students are encouraged to develop and express their individuality through a range of creative mediums, and the faculty of Performing Arts offers a number of subjects for students to explore and improve their creative skills.
Music is included in the core curriculum for all Year 7 students, and is subsequently offered as an elective subject from Year 9 through to VCE.
Drama is included in the core curriculum for Year 8 students, and students may continue their Drama studies as an elective subject from Year 9 through to VCE.
Dance is offered as an elective subject from Year 9 through to VCE.
Each year the College celebrates the talents and hard work of students involved in the Performing Arts arena. The event alternates each year between a College musical production, and the Nazareth ‘Showcase’, which displays the skills and creativity of Performing Arts students, as well as student work from Technology, Visual Arts and Languages other than English (LOTE).
There are a number of extra-curricular activities available to students interested in Performing Arts, including After School Dance, Drama Club, the College Choir, and private instrumental music tuition.
