The Humanities faculty offers students at the College studies in numerous areas, including History, Geography, Economics, and Civics and Citizenship. Humanities is a core subject for students in Year 7 through to Year 9, and these four areas of study are covered through various projects and tasks, as well as excursions and themed activities at the College such as Medieval Day in Year 8.

Year 10 students are required to study one Humanities subject, and may choose from History, Geography, or Economy and Society.

Nazareth offers a variety of VCE subjects from the Humanities domain, including Accounting, Geography, History, Economics, Business Management, and Legal Studies. Excursions to the courts are a feature of Year 11 and Year 12 Legal Studies, where students are able to see the justice system in practice. Year 11 Business Management students undertake a business project which allows students to apply their knowledge to a practical task in a collaborative working environment within their allocated groups.
