The learning environment at Nazareth College is comprised of two schools: the Middle School and the Senior School. The Middle School encompasses Year 7 through to Year 9, and the Senior School consists of Year 10 through to Year 12. Each year level is overseen by a Year Level Coordinator and the Middle and Senior Schools each have a Director of Learning, and a Director of Students.
In each School, the Director of Learning is predominantly responsible for ensuring that the teaching and learning process is both engaging and academically challenging for students, and that the students are able to access study programs that are relevant and suited to their individual needs.
The Director of Students in each School oversees the pastoral care and welfare issues for the student body, and is responsible for liaising with the Careers Coordinator, Study Mentors, and outside agencies to ensure that the provision of effective and comprehensive pastoral care and welfare assistance is maintained for the student body.
