The Senior School at Nazareth College encompasses Year 10 through to Year 12, and plays a vital role in the academic progress of our students. In Year 10, students have already begun shaping their goals and aspirations for life beyond the College, and during Years 11 and 12 students lay the foundations for achieving these goals through their studies.
There are several pathways available for students within the Senior School, including the VCE academic pathway, the VCAL Applied Learning pathway, as well as the option of including VET vocational units to complement a VCE program. By including a VET subject in their program, students are able to gain skills in a vocational field whilst completing their VCE pathway. The College recognises that every student has unique goals for their future, and careful consideration and support is provided for all students to ensure that the most appropriate pathway is followed. Students are strongly supported throughout the Senior School by the Pathways Team, consisting of the Careers and Applied Learning Coordinator, Study Mentors, and Directors of the Senior School, who work collaboratively with students to identify tangible future goals and assist students to implement skills to effectively pursue these goals.
